Ingredients

3 cloves
Garlic
2 tablespoons
Parsley
1/4 teaspoon
Salt
1 large
Baguette or crusty bread
100g
Unsalted butter (softened)

Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic and chopped parsley until well combined. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise (or into slices if preferred) and spread the garlic butter generously over the cut sides. Place the bread on a baking tray lined with foil or parchment paper. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the butter has melted into the bread. For extra crispiness, grill for an additional 1–2 minutes before serving.
